Connacht Waste Management Region Evaluation of the Replacement Waste Management
This is to advise that Connacht Waste Management Region has commenced an evaluation of the Replacement Waste Management Plan for the Connacht Region 2006 – 2011 and, consequent on this evaluation, the Plan will be revised or replaced as necessary to comply with the Waste Framework Directive (2008/98/EC) transposed through European Communities (Waste Directive)Regulations 2011 (S.I. 126 of 2011). The existing Replacement Waste Management Plan for the Connacht Region 2006 – 2011 must be evaluated by 31 December 2012.
Evaluation of Regional Waste Management Plans
This is to advise that an evaluation has commenced of each Regional Waste Management Plan and, consequent on these evaluations, plans will be revised or replaced as necessary to comply with the Waste Framework Directive (2008/98/EC) as transposed through European Communities (Waste Directive) Regulations 2011 (S.I.126 of 2011). Notice to all Permitted Collectors who have been authorised to collect hazardous
As from the 31st December 2011 the C1 forms are being replaced by the Waste Transfer Form (WTF) in accordance with the European Communities (Shipments of Hazardous Waste Exclusively within Ireland) Regulations 2011 (SI 324/2011).

Amendment to new Regulations

The Waste Management (Registration of Brokers and Dealers) Regulations 2008
New Regulations for Registration of Waste Brokers and Dealers involved in the export of waste abroad for recycling and recovery are being introduced on the 1st of July 2008. The registration will be administered by Dublin City Council and will facilitate controls on those who arrange shipments of waste.
